Organizers

As was already the case with the conferences in 2011 and 2014, also this conference is jointly arranged by the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Prof. DDr. Janusz Surzykiewicz, and the non-profit organization Knotenpunkt – Begegnung verbindet e.V., Maria Groos. 

 

Janusz Surzykiewicz holds the Chair for Social Pedagogy in the Philosophical-Pedagogical Faculty of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt; in addition he teaches and conducts research at the Kardinal-Wyszynski-University in Warsaw. Among his international lecture and research activities fall the promotion of health care initiatives and spirituality.

Maria Groos is chairwoman of the non-profit organization Knotenpunkt – Begegnung verbindet e.V.. She is a graduate of the course of study on the Theology of the Body at the Pontifical Athenaeum Benedict XVI Heiligenkreuz near Vienna.

Cooperating partners are the Episcopal Ordinariate of the Diocese of Eichstätt, which offers financial support for the conference, as well as the non-profit organization Support International e. V., whose volunteers ensure the smooth operation of the conference.
